Bostik V60 Black Silicone Sealant Non Acetic 300gm Tube  314690

Bostik V60 has all the qualities required for external sealing of a Caravan or Motorhome body made from Aluminium.
If you are looking for a reliable white sealant for your caravan, look no further than V60 silicone sealant.
It is non acetic and can be used with many surfaces. Some examples of use for this product are metal roofing, glazing, mirrors, aluminum and weatherproofing, among other uses. 
A number of the most flexible silicone sealant have non acetic characteristics.

• Bostik V-60 is a one component, non flowing, high modulus silicone sealant.
• Will accommodate approx. +/- 35% movement of the original joint
• Non Acetic (Neutral cure)
• Unpaintable
• Maybe smoothed with your finger and soapy water
• Coverage - Approximately 16 lineal metres per 300ml cartridge based on an average joint size of 6mm depth and 3mm width

Application

Always ensure that the surfaces to be sealed are dry and free from oil, dirt and grease. Use the two-wipe process for impervious substrates.
Ensure the cloths are clean and changed frequently and use a suitable cleaner/solvent such as Z Bond® R-40, IPA or 100% White Spirits (Shellite). 
Clean / wipe of excess sealant with clean cloth or polyethylene scraper. Masking tape can be used. (Masking tape must be removed before skin over starts).

Temperature

Minimum: Application Temperature -10°C, Service Temperature -50°C
Maximum: Application Temperature -50°C, Service Temperature +250°C
Application of the sealant at - 10°C is permissible provided the surface to receive the silicone is dry and free of frost.
The maximum service temperature listed is for transient temperature; the silicone sealant will deteriorate if subjected to these temperatures on a continues basis.
