Peggy Peg Screw In Tent Pegs
Peggy Peg screw in tent pegs are engineered in Germany and made out of quality UV resistant fibreglass or aluminium for extra strength, they won’t rust or bend instead providing a flexible peg that won’t work loose or twist around. They are light weight with an amazing grip in all ground types. The entire Peggy Peg range screw in, and out again, quickly and easily with a cordless drill, or by hand if you want. Just think no more hammering.
One of the great things about Peggy Pegs is that they have an option to suit every task. The standard pegs are tough fibreglass and come in three sizes, so you can do everything from nailing down a groundsheet to giving the dog’s lead an anchor he’ll never pull out. There are also extra rugged aluminium versions if you need even more strength.
It takes seconds to screw the tent pegs in but the best part is they screw out just as quick. No more wrestling with metal pegs trying to get them out or giving up and leaving them behind. They glide in and out so easily and with such little effort that the kids love getting involved.
Peggy Peg screw in Tent pegs come in a range of lengths from 12cm right up to 31cm and with various thread widths from 5mm to 3cm so there is a Peggy Peg for every ground type from hard packed gravel and dirt to soft soil and sand. The plastic tent pegs are bright orange so they won’t get lost and are easy to see so you don’t trip on them.
They are designed to be screwed in straight not at an angle, they don’t even need to be screwed in all the way. As long as the threaded part of the tent peg is in the ground they are doing their work, (its best to screw them in all the way if possible). Simply adjust the blue rope clip so it is as close to the ground for maximum strength. You can add as many blue rope clips to each tent peg as you want so one peg can have multiple ropes coming off it in multiple directions.
Hardcore Peggy Peg
The only exception to the no hammering rule is the Hardcore Peggy Peg Tent Peg, as it is specially designed to be used in rocky or hard pack gravely ground. It is a dumpy short peg at 15cm with a slight tapered thread. It hammers in creating excellent grip as it squeezes into the hard ground and won’t work loose. It uses the same blue rope clips to secure your kit and can also accommodate multiple rope clips. When it’s time to pack up the Hardcore pegs screws out quickly and with ease in seconds the same way as the other tent pegs do.
